i dont know why, i think its because they were my first BB3 host and i just loved it so much, they also have a wicked ACP and its the best i have seen yet -D- -D-

They do offer so many extra things that phpBB3 doesn't offer by default and they offer more then any other free host ever will probably.
i think http://prophpbb.com is pretty good. PureJet is also good.

ProphpBB are very fast which for a free host is rare to see.

GetPHPBB is really good. They use 2 and 3 and include lots of mods and styles for the both of them. They used to not offer subdomains, but it looks like they do now which makes them even better than when I used them. -🙂-

My favorite free forum host is prophpBB.
Forumotion was the first ever forum host I have used and they will forever be in my heart 
. They were fast and reliable and they offered some great themes. They were much better back in the day but now they have increased the ads and their branding on hosted sites 🙁

I don't really use free forum hosts. When I started my first forum, it was on forumotion but I didn't really like it. There are some great free forum hosts. Although I haven't used them, Icy Boards seems pretty good.
I dont have a free forum host. I wanted to set my forum and I never liked something as free that is why my forum is hosted in paid. The reason why I dont like free forum host, as I think there are certain limitations of using it. And when I want to use a forum, I dont want to have limitations.

Icyboards is great to me. Spork knows what he is doing when it comes to server management and running the software he uses on the site. I would highly recommend it for hosting myBB if you cannot afford the hosting costs.
I would have to say ProBoards, actually. It's their own software, the support team is pretty much close to perfect, and the themes and plugins that come out of the developers are pretty awesome as well.
That, and it's free.... Unless of course you pay for ad-free, more storage (it comes with ample storage anyway), and a custom domain.

I would say ProBoards. I like how many themes, plugins, etc that they offer. It's also really easy to customize and administrate. I don't like the ads, but they have to make money somehow.
