Do you have a favorite movie soundtrack? If so, why do you like it so much?

If I had to say any probably the one from Spirited Away though I hardly listen to it now.

I used to love that soundtrack. I was obsessed with The Lion King when it came out when I was a kid. Still one of my favorite Disney movies. Probably is my favorite. After would probably be Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.

From Lion King, probably "I can't wait to be King" Always liked that.

Aladdin was always "A Whole New World" and "A Step Ahead" or whatever it was called. Honestly I liked a lot of the songs from Aladdin. One of the few Disney movies that I actually liked the sequels. And the tv series.

My favorite sound track would probably be O' Brother Where Art Though. 😀 I also enjoy the Team America: World Police and South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut sound tracks, but mostly for the novelty value rather than the quality of the music itself.

I great if like orchestrated type stuff. I used to listen to it all the time while drawing/writing. Castle in the Sky soundtrack is good too. Though I was disappointed it didn't have the ending theme vocal song.

It is a lovely soundtrack. I really should give it a listen again sometime. Though right now I'm more into new age music. Mostly native american flutes. I need to re-watch that movie again. Gosh, I used to watch it all the time. Its really a great movie. I just am not always in the mood to sit down for an hour or more to watch it.

My favorite movie soundtracks at this moment, will come from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I love the music that came from those movies.

Yes! I love the Circle of Life and Hakuna Matata - among others, but I love the Lion King soundtrack.

I like Frozen. Though I feel its a tad over rated right now. But I do like it. Just not as much as the Lion King. But I adore the music. It had some really great music.

Pardon an old woman. My favorite sound track is a toss up between Jesus Christ Superstar rock opera and The Sound of Music. I began to like the songs in those movies when I had seen it for the second time. Until now, that 2 movies are shown on the local cable channel during summer and the season of lent.
