I like Swype Beta On Screen Keyboard App for Google Android. I been using on my Kobo Vox Google Android Gingerbread Tablet, and it works pretty well, and is fast and simple to use compared to taping on individual keys with one thumb.

Well, I only have an Android phone, but my favourite keyboard for that is Swype. It's very easy to use.

I used to use swype and I have to admit it was freaking awesome!! but i rooted my phone and got a new keyboard by SwiftKey and its really awesome too

I wish my Tablet has the Android Marketplace, or , Amazon App storelet Canadians download the SwiftKey installer since I read some positive reviews on SwiftKeys.

SlideIT is also a pretty good keyboard, but its beackspace/delete key sometimes delete an entire word/pharse which is somewhat annoying.

If you're using Android there shouldn't be a reason why you wouldn't have the google play.

I'm using a Google Android gingerbread tablet called the Kobo Vox eReader tablet which uses the GetJar marketplace with free Google Android Apps, and does not have Android market installed on it by default, but I heard some people successfully got Android Marketplace installed on the Kobo Vox eReader by rooting it.

Hmm, I've never heard of that eReader before but all I can say is be careful before you root. I rooted my phone successfully but I know several friends who f-ed up their phones, so take all the precautions and follow every step!

The google market is pretty awesome, maybe not up to par with apple yet but it's getting there.

I think the Kobo Vox is only popular in Canada, and the UK where the Amazon Kindle Fire, Barnes and Noble Nook Tablet, and other cheaper tablets are not available. I'm actually not planning to root my tablet since I'm pretty happy with it besides the lack of a few apps. I can also sideload Android Apps which I find online to install it since it can also sideload from 3rd party app store.
