What are your favorite Wordpress SEO plugins?

I would have to say here are a few of mine that I use pretty much on any blog that I have.

Google XML Sitemaps - Free plugin that generates a xml sitemap of your website, making it much easier for search engine bots to crawl it, and also another important feature is that it notifies major search engines when new content is added.

Wordpress SEO by Yoast- Excellent free tool, that ensures that all of your blog posts are SEO compliant by giving the blogger a load of options such as focus keywords, Meta description, page analysis and loads more, this is a "must-have" for any aspiring blogger.

All In One SEO Pack - The most popular SEO WP plugin of all time with a massive range of features including SEO integration for e-commerce sites, Google analytics and lots more.

WP Super Cache - One of the most popular caching plugins there is for WP. WP Super Cache gives you a large amount of options to optimize your website to the best of its ability in a very easy to understand and effective management panel.

Tweetily - Tweetily is a great plugin for WP that will randomly select a post or page and tweet it automatically to drive traffic to your site. You set the time, number of tweets, and the type of content to share and Tweetily will do the rest.

You've already listed my top tools.

I use Wordpress SEO by Yoast and love it. It's so easy to use and to manage. I think most bloggers that I know use that plugin or All in One SEO pack. I also use Google XML Sitemaps, which I basically set up and then walked away, lol.

I added a few more, you probably have these as well. 😛

This thread has all the main plugins. 😛 Should be very helpful to all those newly found blog owners! Also Yoast is a very good plugin in terms of SEO, very easy to understand and setup!

From all of these I use: Google XML Sitemaps, All In One SEO Pack and WP Super Cache. I use sitemaps because of simplicity and it's features. AIOSEOP is the best SEO plugin for Wordpress I think. I am using it on several websites and never experienced problems.
I used super cache on only two of my websites because I didn't know anything about that plugin, but looks like I will be using it on every new WP site I make because websites are much more faster with it 🙂

Snaps to you.

Speaking of which, if anyone updated this plugin recently, you need to remove and re-install. There was some sort of problem with the host it's on or something.

What issues is it causing?

I think part of the host crashed, so it wouldn't be working if you updated to the most recent update.

From @yoast twitter:
Ugh. Ok. So WP SEO is going to be rolled back, apparently my github to svn move broke something.
Ugh. So it wasn’t Github -> SVN. It was that anonymous functions are only in PHP 5.3 and onwards and all of you apparently are on PHP 5.2.
if you already updated, delete and reinstall.

I have used all of them as well. I would have to say that my favorite if I could only pick one would have to be sitemaps. Just makes it easier for a search engine to crawl the site which I really like.

One of the first plugins I install when I create a new blog is Google XML Sitemaps.

I used to modify the theme to be able to add custom post format for meta tag descriptions/keywords for each post, but now I'm getting lazy and don't want to mess something so I just install Wordpress SEO by Yoast.

DB Cache Reloaded and Reloaded Fix, Hyper Cache for faster loading of pages.

Robots Meta, also by Yoast.

Twitter Publisher to automatically share new posts to Twitter.

By the way, thanks for the heads up Geoffrey. I'm going to need to look into my Wordpress SEO install now. 🙂
