What is your favorite SEO tool to use?

Mine would have to be the Google keyword tool. It has helped me numerous times find high traffic keywords with low competition and a great CPC.

i agree with you nerdie, their keyword tool is like second nature to me when it comes to SEO \ building a website. it's the first thing to do to double check a keyword or a niche, make sure it's worth building and what not.

I remember I used to use WebCEO. That product was free, had a large amount of tools, although it was a little clunky and I didn't know how to use it to it's full potential.

I use SEOquake plugin for firefox, google keywords, SEnuke X, Scrapebox etc.

I think Majesticseo is one of the best SEO tool. When i find Citation in addition to Trust Flow to be excellent metrics which i often refer to. Also, Majestic is the only one that gives me access to all 3 potential versions of a domain in one report well, i can quickly/easily view if there’s a positive change between mysite.com and to www. mysite.com

Keyword tool. I love it. So easy to use and it really does help with that competition.

The tools I use the most are Google keyword tool, Traffic Travis (free version) and Stealth Keyword Competition Analyzer.

Being an SEO professional it is very essential to use tools in order to analyze things. The tools that I use frequently are
Majestic SEO
SEO Quirk and
SEO Quake
These tools are available in both free and paid versions, obviously if you want better and full access of the tools, you have to opt for the paid ones.

There are different free tools for different purpose.

Keyword research : Adwords keyword tool and SEMrush
Analytics : Google analytics
Site check : SEOquake
Traffic : Alexa toolbar
Rank checking : SEO book rank checker
For improvement checking : Webmaster tools, moz, majestic SEO.

I have found SEMRush to be not that useful. It takes too long for them to update their database and really is not useful for new websites you want to check frequently.

I use Google Analytics to track the traffic, but it doesn't have so comprehensive information. I also use another traffic tracking service through statcounter.com. For the keyword selection I check adword keyword tool once in a while.

Mine is the same as Nerdie, the Google Keyword tool. Some of my members have found my forum on google because of this.

In my opinion Google webmaster tools and adsense keyword tracker tool are the best tools for SEO.

You are right, they update once in a month. But still it will give a rough idea.

Google Analytics, Google Keyword Tool, Niche Finder, Keyword Scout and Open Site Explorer.
