The main thing I like on my forum is that there's barely any spam, there's never been a really bad flame war, and all the active members are intelligent and mature. We don't have anyone who goes around posting "lol cool" in year-old topics.
Just the all around atmosphere. My member base is small right now they are very mature and know a lot about the forum subject (phpBB3). We are all able to have conversations and such with very well thought out posts. No one is mean to anyone or anything.
Lack of rules, laid [way] back staff, the humor. I like that everyone can help, and even a new member who just joined tonight has already posted some jokes. Its easy and laid back, which I love.
I hate alot of rules myself, so it just fits my style.
We are a very casual community, we have laid down rules, and members follow them. We don't pin down new members too, everyone is euqal, staff and myself are on the exact same level as members. We are there to enjoy the forums too right?
My forums, well my custom menu I took a few ours coding, thats something I like. Also our old forums before we moved(some members fallowed), we were all fans of anime and we just kept talking anime. We all make new friends and just talk about anime and share funny AMV's on the forum. Its really laid backed and relaxed community.
