It’s very much the month of Halloween and spooky season! What is your favourite Halloween themed film to watch?

Without a doubt for me it has to be Hocus Pocus 😂😂! I’m a big scaredy cat of horrors so this is a nice easy Halloween watch!

Scream franchise, there’s no question. The older Nightmare on Elm Street’s and Friday the 13th’s. 🥰 I have too many haha

Love Texas Chainsaw! Never heard of Jacobs Ladder. I wonder if I can find it.
It's really good. Macolly Colcon (sp?) is in it but it was one of his first films, he's wayyyyy younger than he was in the Home Alone movies.

God he was pretty young in the Home Alone movies as it was! He can’t have been much older than a toddler then?

For me, it's the Halloween movies with Michael Myers in them and also the Paranormal Activity movies.

Lady in White is my favorite! It has a really good and nostalgic Halloween feel, but it's also very bizarre and to be honest, I have no clue who the intended audience was. Has anyone else seen it? It always seems like no one has even heard of it!

The 70's were the golden years for horror movies in my view.

'The Wicker Man', 'The Exorcist', 'Alien', 'Carrie', 'The Omen', 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre', 'Jaws', 'Eraserhead' (a personal favourite), 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers', 'Don't Look Now', 'Nosferatu the Vampyre', 'Halloween' 'Straw Dogs', 'Dawn of the Dead', the list is endless.

What was so great about all these films is they were all very unique. They didn't follow a formula like so many films do today so you never knew what was coming and that gave the audience a genuine thrill.
