Favourite ways to bring traffic to your site?

Hey everyone,

What are your favourite methods in attracting visitors to your site?
if you have any creative ways both low cost and also organic methods,

I'd love to know about them! one way I love attracting traffic is by submitting to
high PR article submission directories, which is a favourite tactic by all pros!

I know, how ever I rarely get original images, so do not post images. When ever possible, post my own copyrighted images and that page would rank high in Google search results very fast.

You can get traffic from commenting, there is no doubt to it, start commenting on blogs, forums, start posting content within your website these would help in getting visitors.

guys, another great guerilla way to get traffic is to post an article on a directory submission e.g ezinearticles.com

method is widely used by all veterans and gets you a good backlink to your blog.

Through social sites. This works pretty well and you can get some good traffic if you post things and make updates on the social sites on a regular basis.

I found out you can advertise on your local cable tv company for as little as $100 per month for text crawler ads.

anyone watching the news will see scrolling text at the bottom like e.g "the pests out of your home! Call John smith's premium pest control services 1800-338-653"

You're right. Google does give preference to original article with original images. I wrote an article for Barutiwa News Online entitled "Residents on Diehl Road Object to Talbert House Presence" and provided my own images that I took when driving down that street. I performed a Google keyword search for the article after reading your post to see how true your statement was and the article I wrote was listed on the first page as the 4th result. I used the keywords: talbert house diehl road.

So, we have it that Google is encouraging original content (article, images, videos). SEO guys should include this as #1 over link building. lol

Social Media promotion is the best way to get visitors quickly. If you tweet regularly on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ about your website offers and news then I think it will attract more visitors in just a short time.
