My current favorite Browser Addon, is actually multiple search bar addons, that allows me to use more than the standard browser searchs that the browser comes with.

Adblock for Chrome for Google Chrome and Adblock Plus for Firefox still my favorite browser add-ons.

I'm using this one for my Chrome clone now and it really works to block ads. Most forums that I go to, people are constantly complaining about the ads, but I see few if any ever. It's a really good thing.

AdBlock for Google Chrome. When I used FireFox, it was a web developer toolbar or something like that. Chrome has something similar out of the box which I like

ScriptSafe for Chrome, and the similar NoScript for firefox. These addons basically let you turn JavaScript on/off selectively for web pages, which can be pretty useful for security. It can be kind of a hastle to keep on all the time though. 😛
