Has anyone had any luck with Facebook ads? How much did you spend on advertisements?

I was thinking of using them but I’m on the fence at the moment.

I used them recently for my church and we got shown to a couple thousand people who never would have known our church was in the local area. There were about a hundred click throughs and I'm not sure if we got any visitors from it.

I think if you plan a Facebook ad, you need a clever way to get people to do what you want them to do when they click through.

What was the price you ended up, I find it you had to pay around $5 then it only last about 30mins

The church decided to do a budget of $5 a day for 15 days and we ran 2 campaigns that way. Here are the stats:

4,196 people were reached and 106 clicks received to our
website with directions to the church and the service times.
(First ad stats 4,300 viewed and 90 clicked to go to the website)
The two ad campaigns reached a total of 8,496 individuals who viewed the
ad and 196 actually went a step further and clicked to go to the website.

Not to made shame that you had no signs up 🙁

I'm not sure if we had any visitors that came to the church right after the ads ran because I had surgery and was in recovery from it. There may have been a couple people, we aren't sure if they were friends of friends or from FB and they haven't returned.

I've had good stats and results for click though in the past, getting new members is quite expensive as so far the signup rate has been massively low. The ad system itself is made for selling products, but it can be quite adaptive, imo.

I never had luck with advertising on social media. But I also think it just depends on your niche.

I have used FB ads multiple times. I used FB ads to sell digital, physical as well as print on demand products. I not only recovered my ad budget but also eaarned some profits.

I've been thinking about using FB Ads to promote my Battlebots forum and maybe my Video Game one too. I'm going to look into purchasing some ad space next week when I get paid next. I'm not sure if it will help, but it wouldn't hurt to try!

In 2023, I might run a facebook ad for my site and see how it works out. I've always been curious about it but I haven't had the means of trying it out until recently.

Facebook Ads is a paid advertising platform that allows businesses to promote their products or services to a targeted audience on the Facebook platform. Here are a few reasons why businesses might use Facebook Ads:

  1. Large audience: Facebook has over 2.7 billion monthly active users, making it one of the largest and most widely used social media platforms. This large audience provides a great opportunity for businesses to reach a large number of potential customers.

  2. Targeting options: Facebook Ads allows businesses to target their ads to specific demographics, interests, and locations, making it easier to reach the right audience.

  3. Measurable results: Facebook Ads provides detailed analytics and metrics that allow businesses to track the performance of their ads and measure the return on investment (ROI). This helps businesses to optimize their campaigns and improve their results over time.

  4. Cost-effective: Facebook Ads can be an affordable option for businesses, as it allows them to set their own budgets and bid amounts. This makes it possible for businesses of all sizes to advertise on the platform.
Overall, Facebook Ads can be a powerful tool for businesses looking to reach a large and targeted audience and measure the results of their advertising efforts.

I tried FB ads many times for my clients and for my services also but according to my experience FB not delivered for all niche markets as he promised. I tried to increase website traffics ... FB promised for about 45 clicks per day but result was not good .... Number of reaches was in thousands and clicks 5, 10 (not more than 10).
I tried FB ads once for lead for my clients ..... get number of leads and few convert also, means result was good but this nice market was jewellery.
So, in short depend on niche markets if you are planing for FB ads because i will not recommend FB ads for all niche markets.
Linkedin Ad is more better than FB ads.
