Many promotion sites, much like Forum Promotion, offer a featured section or something similar. In these sections, the forum owner or staff team features their member's sites giving said sites maximum exposure to the public eye. What are your thoughts on this? Does having your site featured somewhere actually help drive traffic to your sites? Why do you think so? If not, why do you think it doesn't?

It will work if you have a forum that getting high traffic daily or vise versa.
That's all!

I think apart from forum posting, it would also be great if we invest in CPM advertising since it's best if the target is to get more traffic and brand exposure. When choosing an agency to do that it would be better if they have their own DSP just like Bluagile.

I think there is because it brings benefits to us and google want that

If you're referring to 'Feature Site Ads'. It can be helpful, but still minimal. Mainly for the reason if your community does not have a large following, but if you offer a promotion in a similar way. The most common person to see 'Featured' would be members over guests.

It is alright, but it has cons that outweigh the pros a bit. Depends on the site, traffic and community size.
