I had a forum, primarily devoted to reviews, called ReviewHaven. However, long story short, the hosting was awful and my account was suspended for a supposed trojan (which didn't exist upon further investigation by the host, although my account still remains suspended), so I eventually just moved it to a placeholder page on my domain registrar.

I really liked the idea and concept of it, though, and I'm a bit hesitant to just abandon the idea. Basically, I'm asking you a few questions:
Do you think I should pursue it on different hosting (already taken care of that part, though), as a forum?
Do you think I should do it just as a review forum, with no community?
Do you think it should just be a blog?
Or do you think it should be a full-out service forum? *I don't really want to do this, but people mentioned it before my hosting was suspended.

Even if it's a good idea, there's no point in doing it if you don't want to do it, you won't enjoy it and you are unlikely to succeed at something you don't enjoy.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "a review forum, with no community". If you'd prefer not have a community discussion, you should probably just go with a blog.

You bring up some good points and things for me to consider. Thanks, Fergal. :cheer:

Fergal is perfectly right with his point! Unless you enjoy doing something you won't be able to stick with it for long! I love coding and designing websites, managing server and thats what i do all day long! 😀 😀
DO WHAT YOU LOVE!

Community review site.
User gives out at least, like 5 reviews to 5 other sites/products etc.

In return for those 5 reviews, they get to submit their site for review.
🙂

Easy to implement too!

Nice idea 🙂 Thanks Ghost. =]

I think you should go with the same concept you had before because it doesn't sound like you will enjoy running a full out service forum. It needs to be something you will enjoy, like Fergal said. Ghost's idea sounds very good aswell. 🙂
