Feedback needed.. Music Forum

I just opened a site.. I know it's got some low post counts but I'm gonna work on that here soon.
How does the forum look and feel? Any suggestions?

To be honest it looks way too plain! The colors and such are plain and very dull.

Spice it up a bit and add more genres of music!

LOVELY design. It's so 'folky', simple, elegant. Really love the design. I'd add a guest message (few words about your community and the join us button), otherwise it's GREAT.

It looks a bit plain and dull, there is nothing there that really grabs my attention. I also think that you need to make the logo bigger, brighter and to stand out more.

Overall, the choice of color is nicely different. Perhaps slightly plain because it feels as if you only change the colors and icons from basic MyBB theme. I would say you improve on little details of the theme (like fonts, or edges, etc.) and the icons (new/no-new/locked forum, they are not on the same size thus looking weird). One other thing to pay attention is the width of your theme, it stretches out too big for me that I have to scroll.

Content wise, you'll need more threads and posts going on generally.

I think the theme is nice, a little bit different than most themes.

I suggest changing the logo to the background color (The light brown/dark red).
The borders that divide the forum boards would probably be better if they were the same color as the background as well.

Do you mean having the logo be transparent?
I don't quite understand what you mean by changing the borders.. do you mean the white background?

You could make the logo transparent, I hadn't thought of that.

The dark green borders that start each part of the forum, like where it says "Forum Information" or "music". I mean those borders.

I can see where you're going with this, but I think the logo needs some work. The idea is there, the execution isn't so well. The colours make it very dull, and whilst mahogany colour isn't a very vibrant colour, at least make the logo stand out, otherwise the whole forum will feel dull.
