Feedback on HamsterLink please ?? 🐹

I've just recently published HamsterLink.com and would love to hear your opinion on the idea behind the site. Do you have any suggestions or ideas for improving it?

Cute idea.

Two issues that I see.

One, sign up requires me to join another forum, earn coins(?) is that through posting or do I need to pay real cash for them before submitting my request.

Two, I can see the link when I hover over it in the bottom of the browser. It'd be good if that was masked, otherwise you may as well just post a link without the cute hamster image.

I agree that it would probably be more fun to select a hamster and be surprised at where it takes me 🙂

Thanks Al and KitKat for your helpful feedback.

For the moment, links can just be submitted via ForumCoin, I plan on changing that in the future by adding a submission form and / or options to pay via PayPal.

Not sure what we will do about link masking yet. The idea of a surprise is definitely appealing and visitors to the site would enjoy that. On the other hand some visitors would be more comfortable clicking on the links, if they have some idea where the links are pointing to. Will think about that one.

More suggestions and feedback would be very welcome.

Funny.

Agree on the link masking, otherwise the surprise is gone. Unless viewing mobile. Maybe also don’t fill it with only affiliate links. Kind of a red flag imo.
