Feedback Please

Need some feedback on http://www.mytekzone.com , want to know what else can I do, to make the forum much better for its user and get it more active.

The logo looks good. But, I do think it would look better if the logo was more white and had that POP feature. 🙂

Edit: It lightens up on hover, i think it should be other way around.

Definitely agree with Chris, the logo how it is now without hovering over it, is quite hard to read.

I tested around with different levels of opacity but then I decided just to remove it, now it looks much better. Are there any other aspect I could change or add to make the site appeal to new users?

It still shows dim when not hovering over it, and when I hover, it brightens up.

Personally, I think the design looks pretty good as is. It's simple, clean and easy on the eyes. Just add lots of content and make the forum unique and new users should enjoy it. Good luck!
