Big Boy Promotion

First Impressions
[note]========== BEGIN - First Impressions ==========[/note]
Coming onto your forum, I'm greeted with a very professional looking theme that is easy on the eyes. But as I go through the forum, the big issue that really discourages me and turns me off is the lack of activity in some of the sections. I see that the Package Service has been set up, but the Review and Signature Advertising Services are not set up with any guidelines being posted up. The overall statistics of the forum are also a negative aspects with having 49 posts, but in only 10 topics. While I know you're starting out, forums needs to have content to really get people interested and continuing to come back, and I just get the feeling that this forum was set up and then open rather than content being added. Unfortunately despite the nice theme, my first impressions were not good.

As I stated, your theme is really nice and looks to be a custom one. Custom themes always tend to add a professional feel and also a unique vibe since they're tailored to that forum. However, the logo does not go at all. The styling of the logo looks really choppy and is blurry. Your logo doesn't have to be fancy, but it needs to go with your theme, otherwise it sticks out and looks out of place like no care was given. Integrate the colors of your theme and maybe some design aspects of it into your logo. The hover aspect on your navigation bar is also a very cool addition to the theme.

I want to touch on the name since this I feel relates to the professional side. I'm honestly not sure why that name was chosen, but the name does not come off as professional to me. With all due respect, I just get the feeling that the forum is not to be taken serious, and that this is really all for fun rather than being a successful community. Do forgive me if this is not the case, I'm just looking in with my own thoughts that I've gathered. With that being said and I will be honest, when a name of a forum turns off members, they will almost never even bother to sign up or if they do, they will not stay around long. You have to look and see how you can have members look past the name and show that you mean business.
And finally, with the amount of content not being that high in numbers, it is crucial that your Staff is committed in creating content and working to get users to respond. If the Staff shows no interest in posting, you will have a hard time trying to get members to even care about posting or visiting.

Final Remarks
While your theme really stands out with the custom aspect, Big Boy Promotion does not offer anything to me at this point that can honestly wow me other than the stereotype of the normal promotion forum. That being said, with the right mindset and just thinking outside of the box, you can easily find a unique feature that would be exclusive to your forum and therefore will work in increasing member retention and even bringing in new members and content. While the regular promotion forums services do not hurt, sticking to them will not help that much.
Best of luck!
