The site seems very very plain..... And the banner is almost depressing, makes me feel like it's a older dead forum... If you put some nice colors and design into the site and perhaps a uplifting banner, it will have my 100% towards it.
The forum just feels very dull and boring, and like Kcor7t, I feel depressed. I don't think that theme is of any help as the contrast between a lot of white and minimal dull dark blue just makes the forum unattractive.
I think right now you may need to group a few forums together. You've more or less copied FP in the forum structure, which is a big NO as people on FP will realise that and probably turn away from your forum. You won't do well with copied forums; you need to think of forums yourself and what it can bring to succeeding. Copying isn't going to help that; FP's forums only do well because it expanded from user demand and good thinking from the admins. Previously, it was really just a Computers & Internet section for forums and an Admin section, and a year or so back, it got expanded, so that's how each forum is doing quite well. It's not because each forum was like that to begin with and people just posted. Do consider this.
