This cute movie from the 80s brings up a big question, though. Is Ferris a hero - or as irritating as his sister suggested? I would side with the sister. Anyway, this isn't the only movie where I side with the bad guys.
 
I really wish they made the 2nd one of this like they were planning..it would have been seriously cute. I enjoy the first one quite a bit though. Haven't watched it in a while.

I think his role as a character is a hero for this movie. He reminds us to remember to have fun. Live in the moment more.

In a way they did if you ever watched 'Saved by The Bell'
 
What's the moral here? The principal who is really committed to his school in a nation where educators are paid poorly, disrespected, and where learning is terrible - is the bad guy??

But this is a comedy !! 😀
 
That principle was a jerk regardless of how Bueller came off
 
Breaking and entering is a great start to the things he did wrong.
