As far as I know pure Fiber Internet seems to only be available to those that live within larger cities. This may be inaccurate but I know that Fiber to most houses in the area I live usually stops at the road so those speeds don't come all the way to the house.
Also in what country's. I know one state in Australia did the rural first then the city's and bigger locations. Then again in Australia they have it allover now as they been working on installing it for years. As for the UK they are still catching up and not all has fiber. I do not have FIber in my street and yet 1 miles away they do.
There have been workmen around digging up pavements just to fit in fiber optic cables, and those were guys of Virgin Media. I'm fine with my own connection though.
