We are concerned with helping others to improve and hone their skills through critique and discussion. We offer Writing and Art gallery add-ons for posting of all our users' original creations, and a chat room! We also are host to two roleplays, one is a pirate adventure, and the other, which is set to start this summer, is a space sci-fi themed game. Both of the roleplays are open to new players!
We have just upgraded to SMF 2.0 final! Most of our old posts have been dumped, so we need some new members to populate it again! Come check it out!

Fiction Cove Presents

It all started with one simple, harmless mission statement to make the world a better place for the people through technology. First, they made the house smarter, the cars hands-free, the factories more efficient. But they didn't stop there. Soon, all the restaurants, all the stores, even the police force and the hospitals were all robotic. That's when the slums started forming. There, people and robots no longer useful to society came to live and wait to die or cease functioning. Then there's the Outskirts. Not much of anyone goes there, but it's said to be inhabited by failed biological experiments and a number of patrol bots.
The corporation that cared seemed to turn a blind eye after the untimely death of the CEO. The machines began to take control of society, while the business men continued to pocket profit. As numbers in the slums begin to grow, an ever increasing amount of people finding it harder and harder to maintain a living in a world of machines. But the people are tired to letting the machines rule. It is time for them to rise again to power. This is the Reascension.
