Today at age 90, Fidel Castro is dead. For those unfamiliar with history, Castro was the Prime Minister and President of Cuba. Under his leadership, Cuba was turned into a one party Communist state and a global power across the world. Source

Not sure how to feel. Oh that's right I am dead inside and have no feelings. 😛

Wow. I grew up hearing that name, even though he has passed away he still outran most predictions and expectations, dare I say, for decades.

I am not sure how to feel. Castro was a name of fear and oppression when discussed in my household. The man carried out his vision and perhaps not everything is as black and white as I was lead to believe. I know he was key in Cuba's revolution and that cannot be brushed away, even if his own government shifted into something similar to what he rebelled against.

In any case, he caused a profound impact in Cuba and is not a name prone to be carelessly forgotten.
