What are your thoughts on Fidget Spinners? My students always talks about them. They are pretty cool. I don't think I would buy one though. One of my students gave me a Fidget Spinner for free.

Apparently this is the new fad!

They are overrated piece of crap. They are stupid and boring. Glad they are cheap, as they aren't worth the money.

I seen an store that once and they are selling allot of them and when I walk I see people playing with them as they are walking down the road.

Glad they are cheap
Depends on what one you get, they can start from very low to high as $20.00

We were in Hongkong last April, there I saw the fidget spinners. Since I didn't know about it, I asked the vendor. Not English-speaking, the vendor took the spinner and spinned it for me. Oh, I see. What other use? The vendor shook her head. Again, oh, I see. No need to buy that. Just a lousy spinner. But after a few weeks back at home, Facebook was rife with posts about the fidget spinners. Maybe it went viral with the younger generation. Okay, they love the fidget spinners for now. But my question is for how long?

This is just one of the latest fad's, especially with the younger generation. The only purpose I can see with these things is it gives your hands something to do if you are one of those people that really fidget a lot and have trouble sitting still. But I can also see this sort of being a distraction when you're suppose to be paying attention to something else. It just depends on how you look at it.

I dont think its a new fad cause i have yet to see one in my island

I'll be very honest with you - I ordered one very recently. I dont use t though 😛

Its good in people who have ADHD. Infact, I ask my ADHD patients to go have a try at it :

I played with one before, it got old after a few minutes.

I have a few of these. XD They're pretty fun, and can be a little addicting to play with. Awesome if you need to distract yourself or need something to do with your hands. They're supposed to be good for anxiety as well, which is what got me interested.

Also have a few fidget cubes, which I really like. I do find it helps with stress at times.
