Fighting

"punch-ups" :shrug:

anyways, yeah, I used to get into fights all the time, namely with the wannabe "do you know who the F%@# I am?" kids.

I can't stand people who place their ego's above the well being and feelings of others.

I don't fight anymore, but if some idiot starts something, I'd be sure the one who finishes it. :great:

Also, basic self defense classes/techniques work miracles for the smaller people.

I don't like that sort of thing. I only think you should fight if you are in a situation where it has to happen to defend yourself.

Hate them, but if I have to stop one using force, then I will.

Usually I can get out of anything by words. 😉

Oh god, physical fighting is the most pointless thing. It just shows how pathetic you are.

What a relief to see I'm not the only one. Literally everyone at my school believe that their tough and that they are the strongest kids in the world. The only problem is that once you stand up to them they always back down.

I love intellectual verbal battles. If something is bothering you please let me know so we can talk it out, don't start punching me. I'll probably never start a physical fight, but if someone hits me first I'll hit back.

Fighting, verbal or physical, is a way of life. You can stop fights from happening...sometimes. Other times, the fight was meant to be.

I'm a believer that verbal warfare can be very dangerous and can lead to great dangers.

I'm very interested in the technical side of fighting and fighting smart. I can be in more control in a physical fight than I can be in a verbal fight. With a double leg I can get people on the ground quite easily and getting the mount has never been a problem. From there I'm able to land strikes at will, I can apply a submission hold and let them know that they don't want to fight me.

Verbal fights can be quite different in that things that you say will only add fuel to the fire and people will continue to come back again and again and again. Especially stubborn people, who think they're quite good at verbal fighting and don't like losing. You can tell somebody to shut up a thousand times over and it's not going to work.

Physical fighting can be a very useful tool and be a very dangerous weopon, also. How it's used can really depend on the people involved. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who think they're awesome and that they are tough. Most males are quite like this. Most males talk smack and cannot back it up. This is disappointing, but I don't think much can be done about it.

Like most people here, only if it's for self-defense 🙂..Otherwise..Na..It's just stupid I find.

I get into fights :shurg: I don't see anything wrong with fighting. Unless of course, it escalates..

I also believe in fighting back only in self-defense. I usually try to avoid fights but you always need to be prepared for what is ahead because anything can happen.

I have a friend who goes around picking fights with anyone who is bigger than him just to prove how much of a man he is.
He is so freaking annoying. I cant go anywhere with him without trying to stop a fight or bailing him out when he's bitten off more than he can chew.
Fighting is stupid.

I don't normally fight, won't back down from it if it escalates to it though. There aren't any big fights at my school anyway, you get anywhere from a 2-5 suspension for any sort of fighting, no matter if you're the aggressor if you're just defending yourself.
