fileZilla Problem

When connecting to any server I get:
Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server"

Help?

Is it your server? A friends? If it's a friends you may have to get with them and see what the issue may be.

I do not own the server, it is owned by The Planet.

Yes, but I need Filezilla to transfer the files visually though.

man then i think there is a problem with your port settings or password try to create a new ftp acc in cpanel and login with filezilla

Are you sure you have the username correct? For example not just "username" but "[email protected]"

Sounds like you need to take the issue to whomever your trying to log onto. Someone owns the server, and you need to get in contact with them.

It's on your end or theres and if you think ya did everything imaginable, then you need to contact them with the issue at hand.

It is not the problem with one server, it tried connecting to all ftp hosts on different server as I have already stated.

Hmm, firewall is off.. I hope maybe that could be it, umm.. did ya go to the filezilla site and maybe find an answer there? This seems weird, cause I haven't had this problem ever.

If it's not your Windows Firewall, maybe another fire wall being ran by your Anit-Virus? Hell your anti virus could be the issue as well.

Try using the Network configuration wizard. Just an odd error that I haven't encountered as of yet.

I have WF turned off and Filezilla didnt work with anitvirus on or off.

I searched the forums, they nsaid it was in network configuration but it gave me no help whatsoever.

🙁 I feel bad, cause I am not able to help you get to the problem. There has to be something messing with the filezilla. If anything you may have to switch to another FTP service 🙁 ..
