#1 AND THE WINNER IS.. Love, Simon
I have found Raincoat among the most well shown movies. Though, the movie is not popular and the only reason is the ideology of the audience in India. In terms of entertainment, some may find it boring but if you believe in feeling love then it is a must watch movie with your partner.
Most of the time, Raincoat emphasizes on Ajay and Aishwariya who played the lovely lovers. They start talking and meanwhile flashbacks take place; all this results in a realistic love story that connects with you.

A movie like Mughal-E-Azam can never fade; the each element of the movie feels so perfect.
The story of the movie gets build before the first half and all the intense drama begins from here till the very ends which is complimented by twists and turns.
The movie begins to create empathy for Anarkali and Prince Saleem from a beautiful song and it keeps elevating.
The character of Bahar plays an important role in making the movie interesting and dramatic. She also loves the prince and keeps telling the emperor about what is going on between the lovers.

After watching Lagaan, many things from the movie had my eyes. There are poor villagers whose only hope is a cricket match, an energetic young man who shows path to his people, conflict among the community and two girls madly in love with the young man.
Lagaan is more a drama, but romance has been added to make it more delicious, and sometimes it triggers to more drama as well.
You may be wondering what goes on-screen for more than 3 and a half hour. The movie has three phases; it never feels like three different stories but three different stages. The last stage when the cricket match begins, there is no way that you can leave, it makes you to watch it till the very end.
Rating – 8.7/10

With all the strengths and weaknesses, Missing makes a good impact as thriller on the audience. For those who don’t care much and don’t want to dig into the things, it is a brilliant movie.
Missing is a mix of thriller and drama; its script forces it to leave thriller for much time and run on the track of drama. If it wasn’t a thriller movie, the drama part would be amazing. But, as a thriller it feels like a lag.
Also, there are some heavy logic problems. The time period is shown of holiday, though there were a few or not much people at the resort where the story takes place.
RATING – 6.2/10 Concept – 5/10 Story – 6.5/10 Screenplay & Direction – 8/10 Connectivity – 8/10 Acting – Awesome Cinematography – Nice Logics – negative marks
Upon watching Blackmail, I realized that it is among such well-made movies that don’t need improvements. The director Abhinay Deo does complete justice to the idea, it couldn’t have been better; all goes so fine.
To make the script keep going, there is a good implementation of the characters that triggers to new call to actions.
Another highlight of the movie is that it is not like a typical Bollywood movie; there is no hero or villain in it; it is about the situation and ideology of the characters. I guess it is really hard to make an effective movie without a villain.
Rating – 7.5/10 Concept – 8/10 Story – 7/10 Screenplay & Direction – 7/10 Connectivity – 8/10 Acting – Awesome Cinematography – According to the Subject
Nanu Ki Jaanu is a nice comedy-horror movie that is watchable one time. The elements that elevate the movie are its characters and screenplay that is filled with happenings. However, it is a weak movie cinematically.
Ankhon Dekhi may have received a lot of high ratings and applaud all over. However, I have found that the movie doesn’t do complete justice to its awesome and fascinating idea where a man comes up with his believe towards truth.
In the movie, the old man, Sanjay Mishra tells people to first experience something and then consider it as truth. There, he also denies daily life facts such as who is the prime minister of India. With such behavior of his, it all feels silly or he should have come up with something marvelous for the mankind with such foolish believes.
Though, the screenplay of Ankhon Dekhi is really fine where you witness outcomes by Sanjay’s ideology.
RATING – 6.7/10 Concept – 7/10 Story – 5.5/10 Screenplay & Direction – 7.5/10 Connectivity – 8/10 Acting – Great Cinematography – Fits to the theme
Den of Thieves may seem an action movie with larger than life scenes; but believe me that it shows the same intensity while being in a realistic approach with the action.
The story is simple and doesn’t have much freshness, though the events that happen during the watch time are interesting where you see the gang planning smartly and Big Nick (Gerard Butler) buzzing around them most of the time.
I like the climax that has an expected but interesting twist to the story.
The movie not only showcases Gerard Butler’s thug side being a cop but it also creates empathy for him which is a need of any story’s main hero.
RATING – 6.5/10 Concept – 4/10 Story – 6.5/10 Screenplay & Direction – 8/10 Connectivity – 7.5/10 Acting – Good Cinematography – Awesome
Braven is an old school tale where a family gets into life threatening trouble when a man hides drugs into their place and a crime kingpin visits there to have them.
This kind of script idea has been showcased in several action flicks. What gives Braven its space is the drama and empathy to the Braven family.
Jason Momoa has played the character of Joe Braven who is a tough guy and also cares for his wife, daughter and his mentally sick father. He has portrayed his role really well; he looks humble while being with his family whereas he feels like a real hunter while taking against the goons.
Garret Dillahunt has played Kassen, the villain, who is merciless and don’t think much to kill people.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge wasn’t just celebrated in India, but in foreign land as well, especially in United Kingdom where a part of it was shot. There is nothing much especial about the script. But, it is the large canvas and effective filmmaking by the director Adiya Chopra that made it such.
The complete name of Shahrukh Khan’s character was Rajnath
It was the debut movie of the current director Karan Johar as an actor
It is hard to believe but the film was made available to direct to video format after several years of the release in the year 2002. The DVD also comprised of a documentary showing the production and achievements.
Dangal is loaded with fascinating elements; it isn’t just about passionate athletes accomplishing the task. For those who haven’t watched it yet, it is Aamir Khan who makes them interested to watch it. He has three major transformations in the movie from an old fat man to a shredded young hot guy.
The script has impressed me a lot; it is filled with many major reasons to doubt, empathy to the lead characters, ideological fights and intensity.
Along with the supreme perfection by Aamir Khan as an actor, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra have portrayed their athlete characters with such honesty that they feel like real ones.
RATING – 8.4/10 Concept – 8/10 Story – 8.5/10 Screenplay & Direction – 8.5/10 Connectivity – 8.5/10 Cinematography – Good Performance – Outstanding
Being such a valuable movie, there are many stories about the film Sholay. Let’s have a look at some interesting facts.
In the movie there were a few characters that were added to bring humor; though those characters didn’t contribute to the story, but they make the screenplay entertaining.
One such character was Soorma Bhopali who was a greedy proprietor, played by actor Jagdeep. Soorma was a real person whom Jagdeep knew. He was from Bhopal city; so he was adapted in Sholay as Soorma + Bhopali.
Another fact that may shock you is that the iconic and famous character “Sambha” only had a dialogue in the movie, though he is among the most popular ones in Hindi Cinema.
