First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
That homepage is amazing, as is your forum index and theme. It fits with your genre well.
I understand the need for all of the boards, so I'm not going to bring those up. I would however suggest a tiny bit lighter forum as Final Fantasy isn't a very dark game like WoW for example. Might just fit better

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
Your boards are a little excessive, I can't really suggest
where specifically you need to cut down, but this is somewhere you've got to think of yourself as the forum owner.
I can however suggest you seriously cut down the Final Fantasy Reverie Headquarters. That's something that needs some work. You don't need all these boards for legal stuff etc just make topics. All you really need is the following:
Category: Final Fantasy Reverie Headquarters
--Board: Announcements and News
--Board: Site Information
--Board: Introduce Yourself
You can move the competitions and such to another area on the site.

You're doing stellar here. With almost 12k posts, that's great. You are a bit short on registered members, I can suggest you do some post/member exchanges.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
I can tell off the bat just from looking at the users logged in in the past 24 hours that you've got too much staff. I would suggest you stop hiring for now, and maybe cut down on the groups " Site Admins " and " Administrators " are almost the same in practice.

Final Remarks:
The genuine concern I have is the amount of boards. You should work with your staff on cutting these down. Other than that you're doing pretty good. I'd suggest you change forum software when you can and get a domain, as this is a lot nicer for new guests.
