Screenshot from 2018-12-24 13-54-45.webp LINUX!!! Ubuntu to be more precise. After struggling with how slow and full of bloatware and shit Windows has become in the last few years. I finally got fed up with it, and have moved primarily to using Ubuntu 18.04.

It had been many years since the last time i used it, i think was v16.xx , and i have to say i am very pleased with it, and the updates that have come along with it.

I do use Photoshop alot, and that was a major concern for me initially moving over to Linux, as Adobe doesn't support it at all, not matter how much their users ask for it (boooo Adobe). But using PlayOnLinux and WINE, you can run CS6 with ease.

I dont think i will ever go back to Windows now. Buh Bye Micro$haft.

I just stopped using Ubuntu 18.04. It was awesome but I like the simplicity/automation of Windows much better,

I stick with windows as I'm an gamer and Ubuntu and Linux doesn't support all software and games. Can be suck but do get used to how things run.

Ubuntu can be pretty dope if you're into using command line more than using the actual GUI interface. I use Linux on a daily basis at work, so I have it on my personal laptop too.

Ya i use Terminal for most everything. the GUI interface is ok, but def not as quick.

There are actually quite a few games on Steam that you can play right out of the box now. And ones you cant can always use WINE

VMWare Workstation Player is free for personal use, and it runs pretty smooth on most computers i've tested it out on.

Linux is by far the best. I use Unix all day at work so using Kali Linux is such a nice move back and forth.

I see no Unity there... 😛 But yeah, I don't blame you for making the move, given on how Microsoft's been running business these days. I experimented with Linux a few times before (though under VMs) and did consider switching over but, still not sure. I do like Linux Mint though 🙂

I’m interested in Linux just now. But I’m worried in case it doesn’t work on my computer models plus, I have a couple of games that don’t support Linux. I am a Windows user and I’ve never used a Mac.

Depending on the game, you can use an emulator like Wine, but don't expect it to support AAA games. Feel free to run a VM and throw a flavor of Linux on it and test it out. Distros like Ubuntu and Mint are really good if you're looking for a GNOME side of an OS 🙂
