I created this tutorial over two years ago, so sorry if it's not too up to date.

1. First, open up a new canvas of about:
2dtaq35.webp

2. Now use the gradient 'Incandescent' and swipe it across the canvas like this:
2hpn7f9.webp

3. You should now get something like:
r7kb3c.webp

4. Now, click on this:
33w6vph.webp

5. Now, click on the picture on the top left and make some spikes, once you've got the hang of it, click reset and make the spikes. It should look like:
2rr6qme.webp

6. Now, change the options to this, and play with it until you get something like:
nb40nm.webp

7. Now change the options to this, and just flick the edges of the swirls until it looks like:
2vvu8uq.webp

8. Well done! You have now made fire without a plugin! I bet you feel good.

i remember making a blue fire by the same method. it is real good ๐Ÿ™‚

It's not bad, but I would have preferred a different way, probably. I could make a tut on blue fire... Maybe. ๐Ÿ˜›

Well if you can than it would be good for a lot of people ๐Ÿ™‚

i did the tut a long time ago and now i prefer going the hard way through smudging as it gives much clarity and feel of flames.

Blue fire. I can imagine the tutorial.

1. Do Jonathan's.
2. Colourise.

Color Balance would be much effective ๐Ÿ˜‰ though i did it by using a ice gradient instead of yellow one. ๐Ÿ˜›

Well I am equally good at three softwares ๐Ÿ˜› Photoshop, Arcsoft Photostudio, & GIMP

I got classes for photoshop and other two are self learned ๐Ÿ˜›
