Fire: What would you grab?

I have two cats so this is really hard. =( I'd grab the nearest one or at least attempt to get both if they were close. I have a window in my room and can easily get out if needed. If we're not talking about animals and a material object, I'd grab my laptop with the power cord still attached.

Could you imagine having the power cord a special one, and it zip tied to your desk. Going to get scissors, unplug, untangle, and try to get out?
 
My pets, and plants. I probably take my external hard drive and computers if I have the time.

Ahaa my power cord isn't like that, it just sits there, really easy to get. If it WAS like that, I'd just say screw it though.
 
Truthfully? Well I would grab my back pack. My back pack would have a few items in it already such as my cell phone, wallet, laptop, etc.

That's actually very smart. I might start keeping stuff in a backpack, just in case.

That is a good idea, I think I might do that, too.
 
I have 2 cats, so I could get them at one time. The rest of my stuff can be replaced.
 
I would grab my cell phone to call the fire station or 911.
Wow, this is my 911th post speaking of which. Odd Coincidence that I mention 911 in this post 😱

This sucks, I am on the second story. 😛 Can't really just throw stuff out the window and hope it does not break.

Anyways

I would take my dogs and my phone and iPod. Everything else will get fixed from insurance.
 
I am lucky I live in a Bungalows and the windows are all big
But the main things I would grab is my photos, letters, and teddy bears as they can not be replaced
 
Since I don't have a laptop anymore, I'd just grab everything I can and just run like a girl. 😛
