I'm using this, crashed when it opened but that's it, it just seems to be on a slow mood every so often but it seems to work 🙂

Yes they did, and they already have 6,7,8 readyish 😛
 
I do know understand why Firefox has been releasing updates so often lately.

It was just last month we all installed 4.
 
Firefox have started to follow Google Chrome with their fast release schedule of releasing a new version every 6 weeks. It means regular updates with not much really changing and rendering the version number to be pretty useless.

I am not sure if that is true with firefox,but with chrome each release does bring something new. It could be something small like the app store introduced with version 10(I think) or something behind the scenes like javascript engine tweaks.
 
It is still not really alot of changes they make and not really enough in my opinion to justify a complete new version in most cases. It is a bit like phpBB classing their latest release (3.0.9) as phpBB 4 because it contained a couple of new features, a few tweaks and loads of bug fixes.

Meh maybe so,but I really don't care about versions anyways. I am automatically updated whenever they come out lol.
 
by Christmas we will be on Firefox 129 at this rate, I installed Firefox 5 last week 😱

Well when you are 2 beta versions ahead of the latest released version you are going to have some problems.
 
I think Firefox is just updating way too fast. They just had a beta release of Beta 5. Why a release of beta 6?
 
I agree. Firefox is updating too fast, Google Chrome is topping Firefox in speed and toolbars, but I found a way to make firefox faster by watching some YouTube videos. 🙂

Too fast it is using a similar release system that chrome uses.... I do not hear complaints about it..
 
Firefox is releasing everything too fast. First i was using 3.6 and then they released 4 and suddenly after not long they released 5 and now 6. Its just too quick and its just going to affect their browser.

I never knew they released 6 until now.
 
They updated from 5 to 6 in a day, they're updating too fast! Firefox 4.0 beta lasted a month or so, and then came Firefox 5.0, and then boom! It just jumped to 6 in about a day. I really couldn't keep up to date with Firefox, but Google Chrome is just better but I still don't use it.
