I am currently running the newest firefox build, it is 64-bit and completly redesigned, it feels to me like its uber fast compared to the firefox 3.6.3, right now its codenamed minefield, it also uses windows 7 aero effect, also this is pretty much the first step into getting ready for firefox 4.0

Here is a pic:

make sure you select win64 if you want 64 bit, and also make sure you do exe so it actually installs.

I'm going to wait too because I found out (after downloading) that at present time, you can't use the alpha with flash player. So you won't be able to use youtube for example from the mozilla alpha application.

Yah thats the one downfall but its faster thats for sure

I can't say this as true but since it's a 64bit application, it probably only works on 64bit systems...

yah i have 64-bit computer and i feel like its faster ill run some tests a bit later

Sexy!!

I run 64 Bit, on Windows. I am amazed by all the crap that isn't compatible with 64 bit computers. I have to try this out... if only FF wasn't my primary browser.

Hey OP,
How did you get the Aero effect to work?

I am testing it out, messed up my site a little, other than that it is amazing. And speedy.

Bleh. Don't use FireFox much, but I need to use it for browser testing - so I can't install this... However it's good that they finally took the leap to using the Aero interface. 😀
