I'm running Firefox 3.0.10 on my Macbook (running Leopard) and tried to download a few add ons before, but for some reason, I couldn't get any of them to work. I tried to download some add ons like AdBlock, FlashBlock and such.
Any ideas as to why this could have occurred? Any solutions? I don't particularly want to uninstall/re-install Firefox, especially if that doesn't solve the problem.
*Facepalm* Firefox was made for Mac before Windows (AFAIK). It was the first Mac browser ever made, before Safari even. =.=
Also, I made sure I had the Mac version. It redirects to the Mac download page when you go to the Mozilla site. ๐
Anyway, it turns out my Firefox was indeed out of date, which I hadn't even noticed. After updating, it fixed the problem. Thanks Azza. Such a simple solution, but it had me stumped.
You will experience crashing soon most probably, but nevertheless it's still got awesome features ๐, by the way your Firefox should update automatically so why yours didn't is abit weird considering yours was such a old version too.
