i have heard from my friend that there is a private mode in firefox but when i checked in mine there wasnt any idea?

It is in FireFox 3.5. You are probably using a different version.

Only real use is when looking at porn on a family computer... it doesn't use a proxy so there's nothing "private" about it to the rest of the world... only localhost >.>

Maybe checking your site at work? That's about it really...
