I have to agree with the first comment for a first theme it is good. here is some feedback, as a web designer color schemes and the way content is displayed is important. So try having a look at sites like kuler.adobe.com for some popular colors that work well with each other. maybe not have the hole theme blue.

try also to push the boundaries of code design and develop the idea. making themes that are not generalized appeals to a particular audience which makes it easier to design a theme that suits them.
