Pretty neat, except it looks like the menu is about the same length as the logo

For now, no. I am currently working on my second theme, and I also need more experience 😀.

Good job mate, i think you should alter the font in the header and check the spaces between every link, they are not all even!
Have you linked the slider with e.g. certain topics/categories of the forum? Or is it a future feature? 😉
