This guy, as you've probably guessed, is gay. He's also a flamer. I am not homophobic, and I have many good friends that are gay. I don't think that it is natural for gay people to act like this, I think it is strange and brings all other homosexuals down to a horrible stereotype.

Seen the film Bruno? I love it. It's awesome. Sasha Baron Colen, who plays Bruno, is a very intelligent guy. He knows that not all gay people are like this, and he is mocking the stereotypes. He does it fantastically.

What do you think? Do you think gay people are naturally like this?

I know plenty of guys who are a "feminine" by genetics and are not homosexual. I do not believe homosexuality is natural. Your actions are a matter of choice.

Well, both my Wife's best friends are gay males. They aren't flamers or queens but they are certainly effeminate. However, they are 2 of the greatest friends anyone could have, including myself. I get along famously with them both and wouldn't see it any other way.

But the freaks of any sect of society make it worse for those who are trying to lead a "normal" life. No self respecting male (gay or not) should be THAT flamboyant. It just makes them look stupid and gives the rest those who choose an alternative lifestyle, look bad.

One of my teachers is gay and he is feminine, and I have a gay friend too, and they don't act like flamers really.

I also have some gay friends that are just as masculine as anyone I know. Matter of fact a couple of them are powerlifters and play in the local flag football league. Flamers are just freaks and would be off the wall no matter if they were gay or straight.

Here's a thought for you all, you may think theres a lot of "flamboyant" homosexuals, but that may not be the case. As you don't know if the ones that aren't flamboyant are gay or not as you can't tell by their body language and the way they speak, unlike the "flaming" ones.

Yes, there are quite a few of them, they are very irritating and theres simply no need for them to act like that, but if thats their personality then  There are plenty of other irritating stereotypes in the world, you don't see a lot of threads debating them though

Quite frankly I'll debate all the stereotypes in the world. Due to them you have bigotry and bulls**t. The ones who use the stereotypes to their advantage and those who pilfer them just because they're too stupid (for lack of a better term) to do anything else.

I hate the flamboyant homosexuals. I mean sure you can tell a few people and it will get out, but don't go wearing rainbow clothing or painting rainbows on your body.

I believe that homosexual flaming is because that gays, in general, are thought to be "less of" or "lower" than straight people, hence they constantly get picked on.

(I go to a private school, and there are about three or four gays in my grade, and they all flame because they get picked on, in my opinion.)

And FYI, that vid was disturbing.

Straight people act "flaming" too.

If that's how people act when they are just being themselves, then yes, its natural.
If they actually try to act that way, then No, its not natural.

......Is this really supposed to be a debate?

I don't know anyone boy at my school who's actually come out of the closet and admitted they're gay at my school. I think one of my friends is probably gay though... I wouldn't say he was a ''flamer'' though.

To answe OP: No. Some folks at my school are gay and no they are not 'flaming' and not every gay fits in a category as not every straight person fits in a particular category

I could sum your pathetic post in three words ending in 'an idiot.'

I don't have the time to spell everything out to you right now... so have a long hard think.
