I grew up going to flea markets all the time because my dad was a seller at a few of them to try to make some money for the family. There are some good finds at times but mostly to me it was junk. I always wanted the earrings they sold and once I got my ears pierced finally, I found I was allergic to the cheap earrings so I was so sad I could never wear any of those cute ones.
We go to flea markets but we are also picky. Some have just a lot of junk. However, there are some great finds in there, for cheap. It depends on what you are looking for.
Market in the street, mostly on weekends or odd days on the weekdays. UK are dull of markets across the country. From food and farmers to secondhand items martlet. However, they are dying and aren't as big as they used to be with major big stores taken over and also online retail. I have not seen a good flea-maket in years.
