Well first off.... Good idea for a forum and looks like it's being managed well. Good work.
The Facebook, Twitter icons are very hard to notice where they are currently. Maybe you could keep them there but make them more noticeable.
The Welcome guest on the bottom right can be a little annoying. If you want to have a message to guests then put something on the index in a box without making it scroll. Such as login/register links.
The sidebar is a little small. Maybe widen it by another 50px or so.
Forum looks good and i think its gonna be great if you continue working on it.
For the domain i am not pleased with a subdomain looks unprofessional but as its a new forum you can work with it until you get some revenue from your forum, also those ads i suppose are from the host ? The theme is ok its not bad but its not great ether, i like the board icons though.
All in all id give it a 6/10 but considering it being a newer forum and seeing that it grows my rating will probably get to a 10 shortly.
Well, in the last few years I've been wary of forumotion as I found it to be insecure and the designs just aren't too the standard of self-hosted forums. However for a forumotion forum that design is very good. The 'welcome guest' box is chopped off at the bottom so might need to get that fixed. I'd say you need to try and fill those empty sections. A guest will not like the idea of signing up to a forum with empty forums so get posting. The thread view is unique, not sure what to think. Good luck with it! 🙂
We are going topic this issue with the welcome guest box. The only section it is empty is the Templates. In the help desk, we have moved all the solved topics in the solved database. Do you think that it would be better if we had a solved database for each section? +1 and 15FP$ sent. 🙂 Thank you!
The theme is great although i've encountered a few bugs but no big deal. I'd strongly recommend that you add a section for suggestions and questions and an introduction board would be cool too. I really like the custom forum icons too, it's a great idea. Another suggestions would be to move the social network buttons more to the left. Good luck! 🙂
What I feel about the forum is, it looks too full, therefore the texts are quite small. Of course we could zoom in to make it bigger, but then you need to scroll from left to right very often. maybe you could adjust the content, to make ti more neat and clean?
