I know not a lot of people are doing icons, so i was thinking i would write a tutorial to help you lot out.

Not a bad first try, try using more points on the corners to get a more round effect, or if it looks box-ish, go to select-----> modify------> Smooth and smooth it by about 4!

There are a lof of spelling mistakes in your tutorial...

"Gradiend"
"wight"
"opacity"
"addects"
"tutoral"

Remember to double check your spelling before posting tutorials, to prevent people getting confused. Also remember that some people may be complete newbies to photoshop to try to explain different techniques a bit better, for example not too many people will know how to "lower the optacy".

Good start though, would like to see more of what you can do. ~smile~
