Forum Pros:
The changes in the forum organizing has much improved. AndI like the idea of the redirecting contests; I've always considered maybe trying one of those myself. And I also , now, understand the reason for two sepearte boardcs for the different iPods.
I've even noticed a little more activity and new members picking up lately. Good Job on that.
Forum Cons:
The one thing that sticks out right at the beginning, is the banner. It seems you're forum width has been resized, or set to a size limit. Now, you need to resize your forum banner; and get it to fit those dimwnsion in width; so everything lines up perfectly.
And, I still think you need more off-topic boards for other discussions. When a member does show up to discuss Apple Products, there's only so far you can go to discuss them, at least the off-topic sections gives them alittle more incentive to look around, and see what other Apple enthusiats like to discuss other than Apple products
Final/General Thoughts:
You've made some very fine improvements; and they should work better for the forum. Though, as i mentioned previously, it's just going to be hard to find alot of people wanting to just discuss the theme; and it's even gonna be harder that they search, and find your forum first. Keep advertising, and using achcor text for key words that could help Google search find your key words when others are searching for help , and discussion for Apple Products.
What was most liked about the website/forums:
The new Board layout, was a major improvement, and have to give props on a job well done.
What was disliked most about the website/forums:
The banner width. It really needs to sync up with the rest of the forum's width. And, though i like the idea of the forum redirect. i don't think having it up top is the best place for it.
