Well, should be obvious neither, as of yet. We've got other requests, and are handling them as quickly as we can. You just had a Full review less than 5 days ago, so I'm hoping you can have a little bit more pateince on your "follow up" review.

Thanx.

Your Quick Review

Pros:

The banner is a very unique and slick design. Might be a little oversized, but not really an issue.

The theme of the forum is also a great touch. You use the right choice of colors, that compliment each other throughout the skin, banner, category bars, text color links, and background.

The forum has tons of tutorials posted up, and those looking for such tutorials should be right at home. Though, with so many posted, it will be tough for them to find exactly what they're looking for.

Your member count is astronomical. Very nice stats on your member count. The forum does seem to drive alot of attention your way.

Cons:

As mentioned in your previous review, your top category should only contain actual forum related content. Chit Chat just doesn't belong. It's your most popular, and active section, so no matter where you have to place, it will still be as active. Plus, placing it somewhere lower, might help point out to most members who only use that section; that there are other sections as well, and might entice them to post in other sections.

I personally just think placing a chat box at the top of your forum is the worst thing that can be done for a forum. IF you're gonna have one, should be placed at the bottom, so not all members arrive and just camp there, at least they'll have to scroill down the forum, and see the other sections. Also, the Top 5 Forum stats box should also be placed at the bottom of the forum. You want the first thing your members see when logging on, is the actual body of the forum.

As good as your stats are, the ratios just seems really off. According to your member/posts count, there's an average of 3 posts per member. And, seeing that there are 8 members with well over 1,000 posts a piece, I'm gonna guess that there are from 1- 3,000 members who registered, but never posted. Your forum does wonders for driving new members into registering, but nothing that encourages them to get more involved.

Final/General Thoughts:

The forum is a good forum, with a great amount of members, and good active staff team. There just a few flaws that need to be corrected, no matter how much the admin wants them to remain; it's about what's best for the community and the forum's success.

What was most liked about the website/forums:

The template and banner. Not too fond of the over sized image board icons, but they work, as well.

What was disliked most about the website/forums:

The chat box up top. I have no idea why admins do this, cause it does kill forum activity. If the chat box was removed entirely, I promise you would see a significant growth in activity in the forums.

Final Score : 7 - (Out of 10)
