Nope I highly doubt. I am a Man Utd. fan and I see MU getting somewhere but I think that it is a close call for Inter, Barca & Utd but Lyon might pull the trigger.
No point in playing in the quarter and semis if you're not gonna win the final (which man u won't) and we're better for being knocked out anyway as results would suggest. We even got to rest Drogba on the weekend and will have had a lovely 7 days rest to prepare for United. 😀
How do you know Man Utd won't win the final? The further you get in competition, the more money you get and it raises the profile of the club. If Chelsea lose at Old Trafford, Chelsea will be totally buggered. There are advantages to not being in the CL at this point in the season but if you fail in the league aswell the fans will be furious and will do nothing is Chelsea's quest for good players. I would rather have the chance of winning both then focusing on one.
I used to admire the Arsenal and think they were a class act,, I'm really not into them now ever since the Aaron Ramsey thing, they showed themselves up IMHO so I've lost compassion for them in the champions league. :shake:
