They are centre backs, Silvestre is a left back. He'd be back up to Clichy then 😛

No he is not a left back his natural position is a centre back he played a couple of games at left back for United because they didn't have a solid one before Evra.

I never thought i'd see the day that Arsenal get desperate, to me this is a really poor signing from Wenger's & Arsenal's point of view. The wheels are coming off at Arsenal these days.

Makes no odds it's still a poor signing, with Philippe Senderos being a shock target for Arsenal moving on loan, he will now play.

Roman Pavlyuchenko to Tottenham

Pavlyuchenko is a decent signing for Tottenham, basically what Spurs were waiting on before letting Berbatov leave for Old Trafford. Never been keen on Anton Ferdinand, whenever i have seen him at a game he is very clumsey and sloppy, not alot of Hammers rated him.

Why did he want out at West ham to go to Sunderland? I don't understand that.

Put it this way, Sunderland have alot more potential going for them than West Ham at the moment. West Ham are pretty much in a mess, nothing sorted out this summer with big signings they needed. Alan Curbishley is favourite to get the sack, and by West Ham's recent performance i'd go with that. Sunderland have bought in some decent signings to be fair to Roy Keane, exciting times at the Stadium Of Light.

Noticed James Milner has handed in a transfer request today, could seal his return to Villa by end of the week. Happy days.
