Are you someone who enjoys making phpbb styles for phpbb?

But finds the certain strictness on their style submission policy on phpbb.com putting you off to submit your work to their db?

That is why I'm posting this. To raise awareness of this issue and the need for support or added opinion for this to result into something. 🙂

I don't understand what that's all about... is it because of copyright infringement or what's happening there? Not that it would concern me because I prefer to use already made themes than try make one myself. I'm only asking because the whole concept confuses me.

Style designers with popular free themes are getting paid by certain companies to put a link to the company’s website, which is causing many themes to have footer that are heavily linked. With this new rule, a style designer can only like to their own website.
