Forest Fires near you

For those in areas that are currently prone to forest or brush fires, are there any currently near where you live?

There have been quite a few fires within a few hundred miles of where I live, and boy is the sky pretty hazy because of the smoke.

There's about 40 forest fires in Ontario right now, the closest to me is about 4 or 5 hours away.

Im in the pacific northwest, so lots.

Yesterday it was reported that there are/were 305 forest fires in British Columbia. :S

I'm all the way on the other side of the country but I have been to the areas where the forest fires usually happen outside Los Angeles. It's a terrible thing. 🙁

I live in a pretty high altitude, mountainous country so there aren't that many trees. I guess the lack of forest fires is the silver lining in that one negative point in an otherwise really beautiful place.

I been around brush fires, more then once. Like over 5 times. Get allot in Australia and even been near one once. Then had an bush fire in the UK this year and that was like an hour away from me.

East Tennessee, my home, got hit with big ones a year or so ago. They were centered around Gatlinburg, which is also a major tourist attraction - getting millions of visitors a year.
