Former Forum Owners, do you still help promote your creation

For those of you who used to run forums but now don't, do you still help promote your fomer forum? Perhaps by requesting services, bumping up your advertisement topic, etc? Me, the only thing I have time for anymore is posting on forums, which is why I stepped down on Chatting Time and am now a VIP. However, when I get a spare moment, I do like to help promote Chatting Time, as I'd hate to see a good forum die out. So, for those of you who no longer run forums, do you help promote yours as much as you can? If so, what do you do?

To put it simply, I do all the same things I did when the forum was actually mine: Bumping up the topic, requesting packages when the time comes, etc.

Sure, its always good to help the new owner get back on track. Of course you don't want to see your work go to waste.

Ive never sold or given away a forum..
If I did, I suppose I would just leave it up to the new owners/staff.

I've never sold nor given away a forum. If I gave away a forum, though, it probably would be because I was sick of it. Thus, I wouldn't have much motivation to help out.

I've never sold nor given away a forum. If I gave away a forum, though, it probably would be because I was sick of it. Thus, I wouldn't have much motivation to help out.

Ehh, my mind changes a lot. One day, I'll be sick to death of something. The next, I'll be ready to try again. 😵

Eh if you had the time to promote it I would think that an established forum would require little to no actual administrative tasking... so no if I was still going to promote a site I wouldn't have sold it to begin with.
