Foroomy-Free phpbb3 hosting

Nice but the questions above remain unanswered. How does a site like that make money if they have no advertising on the forums people create? etc.. Is there a catch or does the owner make money someother way from this?
 
Its been 2 days that the site supports google ads with options for ad removal .

But you re missing the point. Its a free forum hosting service with lots of features in it and regular updates .

How can you stuck with a question about money ?

In any way , latest update was quick reply, and thats all.
 
We are happy to announce that from now on forum owners have the ability to place their own advertisements (paid or not) on their forums!

New feautre also installed in all hosted forums: Add STATIC PAGES(news - articles - reviews) through ACP.
 
I used Foroomy for a year, but have now decided to move my forum, I found that whilst they were reasonably cheap and offered a geat deal to free hosts, once you started paying them the support dwindled, which to me is a bit backward.

Those with free sites got MODS installed etc for free, but the same service isn't or wasn't available to those paying, on the plus side at least I know how to install my own MODS now.

Their support is very slow, I have had to wait over 24 hrs for a reply, which is he main reason I found you guys on here.
