At the moment, I can only adopt gaming and game dev forums. I don't have the time right now to take on more than that niche and give the forum the proper love it needs.
Hey everyone, and welcome to my Forum Adoption thread!
I would like to adopt your forums that you think need more love than you can give them. I know that every day, a lot of forums die because the owner couldn't give it the TLC it needed. I speak from experience.
Why am I doing this?
I'm in the process of revitalizing my own forum, and realized that there are other forums out there whose owners just don't want to have to take care of it anymore and would like to see it go to a good home where their members can still hang out and be part of a community. I decided to provide that home.
What am I going to do with your forum?
A lot of the forums that die are rather small. Maybe a few thousand posts at most. I plan on merging the adopted forums together with my own communities to expand my forums while giving your members a chance to continue chatting with the same people they know while making new friends.
What kind of forums am I looking for?
I can only adopt forums that are self hosted (so no zetaboards, etc.). I will be merging the forum with my own and using my hosting, so you can terminate your hosting plan and not have to continue paying to host your unwanted forum.
Also, at the moment so I can ensure the forum gets the love it needs, I can only accommodate gaming or game development forums
