To be honest guys, the default forum skin you've got up isn't terribly attractive or user friendly, kind of looks like a default skin from a forum software from when the internet first started....
I think if you were to improve the skin and make it more user friendly (eg, not having to wait 30 seconds to view forums as a guest) then you should do much better than you currently are ~smile~

From my experience (when I ran the PixelRaider forum) it's much much easier to maintain a phpBB forum, especially when you've got into forums primarily with phpBB. The thing is most of the people here use phpBB and lots of us know how to modify it etc.. without causing any errors.
With vB it can take so long to do basic tasks in the Admin panel, so I see this as a good change for FA. Hope you guys can pick things up ~smile~

I am like most people who has used phpBB for years, vb is a good iece of software, and is very easy adding features to it but I do agree that its harder to do simple tasks using vb compared to phpBB.

I hope this forum will be up once and for all now. You have probably lost a great deal of members when it changed so much. It went from phpBB to vB and now it is back to phpBB. There was problems with the image urls not working, and the forum rules countdown wouldn't start. Now with the switch back tto phpBB I hope this has all finished. if not, I may have to leave. It used to be a great forum, but all these errors and things not working made it unattractive.
Also who is the admin? Subz or jasonp?
