For XenForo, ThemeHouse now has a fairly expensive mod to do that, but not sure if other forum companies have something similar. Anyway, what is your opinion of this stuff? Myself, I can see it as a nice cosmetic thing, but, nonetheless, a simple link to your blog in the forum might be all that's needed.

I know NodeBB / Discourse can integrate with blogs, both Wordpress and Ghost, I believe. In fact, it's one of their main selling points.

I'm considering it, but between you and me, Wordpress is kind of insecure, and I'd rather push people to more secure and modern solutions like Ghost, if possible. I might add support for Wordpress anyway though, as it's fairly popular and has a lot of themes.

As for phpBB, I do recall them having a bridge plugin, I've even used it before and it was really the only reason I even considered phpBB for a week or two before I switched to MyBB after seeing how awful it *still* was.

MyBB doesn't have any sort of Wordpress bridge, last I checked, but it has been a few years since I really took a look there, so maybe they do now.

There was a plugin on XF1 that does essentially the same thing, but the problem is, some developers are taking a long time to develop plugins or themes (lookin' at you Artodia!), and I haven't seen too many XF2 sites with Wordpress/XF2 integration, except for a Devil May Cry site (DMCORG).
